Okay here's the deal guys... PLEASE HELP!!! I've got a 91 RS 305 Camaro. I've had the car since I was 16. It sat up for about 4 years, in between those 4 years my brother tried hot wire the car. So I had a lock smith come out to my grandfathers shop where the car has been and install a new ingnition and put the steering wheel column and everything back together. Well he plugged up the ignition wire to a computer to try and get the code for the ohm resistor chip for the ignition key and it would not read what code (0-15). Anyways the car will crank up if I spray starter fluid in it but idles hard and will not stay running smooth. I had a new fuel pump installed and the gas lines cleaned out. Installed new Map sensor, TBI sensors, 02 sensors. Also when I plug it up to OBD it doesn't read any codes. Does the ECM need to be flashed, Could my ECM be damaged, is it the ignition coil??? PLEASE HELP... any suggestions???

If it cranks over and runs it is not VATS.

How?
He may have screwed up the wiring

Does the SES light come on when you 1st turn the key on?
Does the SES light do anything when you jumper the ALDL connector?

Your ECM can't be flashed , it has a removable chip that can be reprogrammed

maybe , further testing needed depending on your answers to above questions
