Hatch pull down craziness
Like many third gen owners, my hatch pull down doesnt work. I thought it was a burnt out motor, but I havent even gotten to that point in the testing yet. My relay was hanging by the wiring, so I decided to put it back on its hanger. When I did, it poured rusty nasty sludge water out. Thats where im going to start my troubleshooting

I'd be replacing the hatch seal and checking for rust in the lower quarter sills - shouldn't be getting water in there

The craziest thing is that im NOT getting water in there. the seals are solid, not dry rotted, no moisture at all in the trunk area, but for some reason that little relay was a little cup of water!
