Where the heck is this module supposed to go?

So my car has none of the warning lights functioning except for the emergency brake light, I need my check engine light working to see if I have any codes stored. From what I gather, the problem is in the "light driver module" which is this thing,

"Standard Motor Products RY536 Brake Relay"

I've got the new relay and read that it is located in the convenience center. After spending more time than I'd like to talk about trying to figure out where the hell this "convenience center" is or what it's supposed to even be, I found the thing. Not very convenient, not even a little bit. Regardless, where is this thing supposed to plug in? I see no spot for it or anything that looks like it at all. Just two relays a big thingywhateverthatis.

SES light is wired direct to the ECM , no drivers involved.
Key on the bulb has power (does it ? ) , it is turned on by being grounded at (by ) the ECM

I've read posts saying it does have one and posts saying it doesn't. I understand that cars using a CCC ran the SES through the lamp driver and cars not using the CCC had them wired through the ECM. Once again I have no idea if an 87 IROC would have a CCC since there's conflicting info on it. The bulb is good. I do know that I have nothing at the SES light ever, even disconnecting the ECM does not trip the SES light to come on which according to the diag procedure it should. Unless there's a lamp driver that's shorted. I also do not have a D terminal on my ALDL to test the SES.

Given a "CCC" is a computer controlled carb " which as far as I am aware had a ECM.

Only if you ground the SES wire in the ECM connector to test if the light works
Just unplugging the ECM will do nothing ,since the ECM controls the SES light

Re: Where the heck is this module supposed to go?

Gotcha, I couldn't find much info on CCC except service documentation that refers to it as "computer command control." Makes more sense because I was scratching my head over why my car would possibly have two engine control systems.

I went and found a pinout for my ECM, grounded the A5 pin for the SES light and the light did not illuminate. There is no power at the bulb socket at any time during key on or bulb test, continuity through the C207 is good but there is no continuity between the ground side of the socket and pin A5 at the ECM.
