Light trigger and timer (help)

So I was driving my Grand Am the other night and I noticed the lights come on when you shut the car off, I thought it was a nifty and somewhat useful little thing, so I was wondering if anyone would have any idea how to make our cars do that.

Thanks in advance!

We’re guessing you mean the interior lights.

You can use a timer which is readily available at well stocked electronic parts stores.

The timer can be activated when a Hot In Run wire goes to zero.

Happy Racing!
