Turnsignals and general lighting issues

The car is my 86 trans am 5.3/t56 swap if I hit my turn signals the flasher will click but none of the signals will flash and the indicators do not flash. I can hit the 4ways and they work but all the dash and hvac/radio lights will flash with it. I can turn my parking lights on or headlights and both marker indicators will stay lit on the dash. I can have the key out of the ignition turn on my parking lights and hit the signal stalk and the fuel pump will prime lol. I've tried two different clusters and both do the same. Last time I drove the car at night the gauges and dash lights wouldn't work with the headlights on but the gauges would work fine with the lights on. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? Haha

Re: Turnsignals and general lighting issues

there is a little brown and or orange wire that was sized too small in there for running lights, i had to replace it entirely on mine because it was melted to a bunch of other things, like headlights and flashers and such. it pretty much runs to everything behind there, all the switches, etc. its like 14 or 16 and i put a 12g to everything
