died while driving, and now she wont start!!!
yesterday I was driving at a speed of 50 maybe 55 and I down shifted to 3rd gear for a little power boost, then when I got my RPMs up I shifted to 4th then 5th a few seconds after going to fifth the engine died (radio and everything electronic still on) I pulled over and the starter would turn and turn and turn but there was never any spark.
tonight I'm planning on changing my spark plug cables, ignition coil and distributor.
has anyone had this or a similar experience?? and could maybe point me in the right direction to save me time and money....?

Is the fuel pump working?

My '91 V6 MPFI died at at full throttle due on the highway to a leaking fuel pressure regulator and a couple of bad injectors. Check for fuel pressure. If you've got pressure check for spark or the ignition control module. Good luck.
