What the heck is THIS?
I dont have an image yet, I'll upload one tomorrow. Just purchased a 92 Formula that needs gobs of nickel and dime stuff. But under the hood on the driver's side theres a copper wire about 1/4" or so thick with clear insulation. It looks like it connects to the positive terminal, the runs up over the left strut mount and into the firewall near the master cylinder. A few inches from the battery there is what looks like a place for an inline fuse that is missing. There are two female ends and a clear plastic cover that screws together (no pun intended). When I got the car, the clear pieces were unscrewed and the two female sections of the wire were disconnected and empty as if some fuse or something was missing. There is also a small bracket with two holes that screws into the inner fender well. Best I can do without a pic. Too dark to take one, but I figure someone might know what it is by description.
