Remote Starter

Don't know if this is the right board to post this but was just asking if I had a remote starter installed on my Z if that would mess with the VATS system or anything else on the car?

Re: Remote Starter

I assume the manufacturer of the remote starter would offer an option to bypass the vats.if not you can bypass it with resistors from radio shack.

Then the car will not start under control of the remote starter. The remote starter has to interface with the VATS system, making the vehicle think there is a key in the ignition, while starting.
