Where can I find the voltage specifications for my instrument gauges on a third gen
I suspect that my temperature gauge is inaccurate. I want to remove it and calibrate it out of system using a meter calibrator I have at work. But I need to know the voltage/current range of the gauge in order to properly calibrate/adjust it. I own a 1987 Camaro.

it should be a 10-14.4 volt range. it works on resistance off the negative of the gauge. it probably works on a milliamp range so don't put too much on it. what kind of meter calibrator are you using?

I work as a calibration tech in the Marine corps. We have millions of dollars worth of precision measurement test equipment. I was planning on using a 5700ANV meter calibrator. But for the temperature gauge I was gonna try to use a 2000MEJ temperature calibrator

What do you mean it work on resistance off the negative of the gauge?
