headkight motor questions
Soo I have headlights motors I just rebuilt.. worked perfectly for three days now they're not getting power.. I know they're in good working order but for some reason w.e. happened they have no power when I flip the switch. . Headlights turn on still but the motors get no juice. .
Question is what is everything that could be an issue with this.. do they have they're own fuse? Just a list of anything that could have gone bad??

I had a similar problem when I was restoring my car. It ended up being in the switch. I took the switch apart and found out that one of the contacts wasn't connecting. I bent the contacts so they would make contact, but make sure you don't bend them too much or the motor will stay running constantly. Hope this helps.

Re: headkight motor questions
It could be a problem with the headlight control module. You are in luck since you have a 91 Firebird. You can use a headlight control module from any 90 thru 2002 Firebird.

Re: headkight motor questions
The module is located right under the wiper motor, its a little box with a bump in the middle (for the relay) and it has two connecters plugged into it. Mine went bad due to an old relay, had the same symptoms .

Re: headkight motor questions
The module is located on the firewall between the brake master cylinder and windshield wiper motor. The word GUIDE is molded into the plastic cover. There is a bracket on the firewall and the module slides into and out of it. To remove the module, unplug both connectors, then use a flat blade screwdriver on the left side between the module and the bracket and give the screwdriver a twist.
