Those with Contour Window switches
I picked up a set of Contour window switches from the JY for my 4th Gen console swap. Iv ohmed up and down and they work. However, I can't get the illumination to ohm out (or work).
According to schematics I found, the illumination circuit is purple to thin black wire. Doesn't ohm. Mine has a thin orange/blue wire coming off of them that I can't find in any diagrams, but it doesnt ohm out either for illumination. Are BOTH switches illumination bad or am I missing something?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

They might be LEDs therefore won’t “ohm” (show expected resistance readings).
Re-probe the wires, reversing the leads on each suspected lamp wire pair.
If the reading is different upon reversal you have found LEDs.

If Your Communications Antenna Is Not Shaking At Idle, Your Cam Is Too Mild
Re-probe the wires, reversing the leads on each suspected lamp wire pair.
If the reading is different upon reversal you have found LEDs.
