Help wiring speedo
I have a 1987 Camaro 305 TPI that I did a carb swap on. We removed the ECM and ECM wiring.
I need help on how to wire up my Speedo.
Thanks

Re: Help wiring speedo
Your 87 Camaro speedo is controlled by a cable, not the ECM.
If the speedo isn't working after an engine swap,..... to look under the car to be sure the speedo cable is properly connected at the tranny tailshaft.
If it IS connected,..... find the cable under the dash housing and be sure it's pulled into the cluster properly.
If both ends of the cable are connected correctly and the Speedometer is still not working right than the Speedometer itself, Speedo cable, or Speedo Gears ( inside tranny ) are causing the problem.
