Need help identifying plug under dash & buzzer
On my 91, I was looking for the key/headlight buzzer (which I think is removed) and found this plug near the fuse box. Its not attached, just hanging like there should be a relay or something there. Does someone know what its for? Thanks for your help.

Not sure what that connector is, I have a '87 car so I might not have it, but I'll check tomorrow.
As for the chime(door/key alarm thingy), it is located on the right side of the steering column, on the courtesy panel. It is a blue rectangular box. There should also be a hazard and horn relay right next to it.

That connector is for the fog light relay.
The headlight/key buzzer on my 92 is black. I removed it cause it was shorted internally and never shut up. You can't miss it though, it sticks straight out of the convenience panel and is about the size of a pack of cigarettes.

Re: Need help identifying plug under dash
ok, that helps and explains my fog lights were removed at some point.
I found the location of the headlight warning buzzer relay and it was missing. Some people cant deal with the annoyance and yank it out. Got one off ebay. Also found that buzzer OEM GM 1403421 can be replaced with a newer chime relay GM part number 14101255.
update: I have a 96 GMC truck. I looked under at the chime alarm on it and it looks like the same "convenience center" plug ins chime relay/flasher/horn units as on the camaro. I pulled the chime module out of it to test my camaro and headlight/key in/door worked. I could not test the seat belt alarm. The part number on that is GM 15969639 - it has a nice tone. So there are more of these GM units that will work besides the original part.

FWIW, my 92 has the same foglight relay connection, but didnt come with foglights from the factory.
