right up front guys im gonna apologize i dont think this thread belongs here.but ill just go with it.. i dont drive in the rain so i dont use my wipers alot. figure id start using the car a little more so im getting the wipers going.. the motor sounds like its in pain lol and hardly moves the wipers at an idle. but once im up to a solid rpm the wiper speed picks up and stays steady till i slow back up. is this a bad motor? or are the shafts crap from sitting, altenator and batt are brand new its deffinetly not them.. thanks guys!

Re: Wiper motor
I'll be watching this one. I can't imagine what would make the wipers speed up the faster you drive, and slow down the slower you drive, besides system voltage. You seem to be implying that with a new alternator and battery, that voltage is fairly constant. If that is true, I'm not sure where else I would look.

Re: Wiper motor
ya its got me i ran some voltage test yesterday and its getting a full 12 volts so it must be as engine rpm picks up the alt kicks out siome more juice to it. i dont undertand why its doing this im gonna attempt to pull the shafts out today grease everything then try it again. if this dont work it looks like itll be new motor
