These are those wire connectors that attach to the hidden light assemblies that raise and lower, does anyone know how to disconnect these? I don't want to just get in there with a screwdriver and start prying away without knowing for sure how they are supposed to be disconnected

 

The two small screws hold the relay body. With the relay free, the connectors will pull out easily by depressing the pinch tab. Keep in mind they are split from the factory

Also, a can of degreaser wouldnt hurt

I was able to disconnect the plugs to the relay and motor on the headlights assemblies. So now I'll be able to give them a good thorough cleaning, I may repaint them depending on how they look after a jolly good cleaning.... we'll see.

I made a little video seeing how I was having difficulty finding out information on these plugs or connectors removal procedure.... I'm a newb so I'm sure there must be others in desparate need of the info too
