Tach Wiring Issue

I swapped a 2.8 out for a 350 and am trying to hook up the wires without a computer. My wiring diagram says the white tach wire should be pin D6 out of the C100 connector, but there is no white wire coming out on the harness side (I opened up the whole harness, there is no white wire on that side). Is there a chance that the 88 V6 was a different wire? I can see a white wire coming out of the connector at the cluster on the back side, but lose it in the taped up harness behind the dash. Not sure if it goes to the driver or passenger side. Any help here?

I cant get the C100 connector bolt undone to remove the connector and see whats actually at that pin, someone before me stripped it out.

Re: Tach Wiring Issue

I just found a pinout for an 86 Berlinetta that shows the tach wire is black/white on the harness side on a V6. Would that be the same for a 88 V6? Most pinouts only show a white wire, which I'm going to assume is V8?
