Sorry for posting this in the carburetor section.
I just used a multi meter on the one red wire coming out of the gas tank (because my car was swapped to a carb 350 by the last owner) and found that it was reading 69 ohms. When i measured the voltage on the pink wire coming from the dash it measured 5 volts. I thought the gas tanks operated on about 3 volts. If thats true how could i lower the current? Im pretty sure the sending pump is working correctly because the fuel level was working until i put that new intellitronix dash in.
