Alternator Purchase advice with underdrive
I currently have a power master 140 amp alt and at idle it wont charge the voltage drops. I am running a BBK under drive pully set. I had to switch the alt back to the stock pulley as it wouldn't charge at all at idle with the BBK one.
I was talking to a March pulley guy at the carlise show and he recommended a lower amp alt as the power curve is lower. This leads me to the question is there any alt anyone has used that performs well with an under drive kit? At least 100 amp one.

Call Performance Distributors, Davis Unified Ignition DUI, they make the MR AMP alts that are supposed to cure your problem. I just ordered one today and will post the results after install. Hope to post NLT 5-15-14. DUI # 901-396-5782 or google performance distributors

Ouch!! that guy is a little pricey!! But if it works. I will wait for a review before I drop that much on an alt.
