VATS Bypassing

I read how to bypass the system and it said to cut the yellow wire a foot from the connector. I was pulling the wire out to cut it and the wire just pulled out. I didn't cut it or anything but it looks like a very clean cut and now I can't figure out where it goes. Can anyone help? Is the yellow wire the correct wires? There are two wires in the yellow sleeve a white and a green wire. I have looked for the ignition cylinder and it is a orange sleeve with two wires in it. Please if anyone has pictures or can help me through this. I checked the resistance in the key and it is 10ohms so do I need to put a 10ohm resistor on each wire or just one resistor on one wire or 5ohm resistor on each? I know this isn't the safest way but I wanted to run a hidden toggle switch so it is still safe a little. Please all the help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: VATS Bypassing

Okay so I figured out that the yellow wire is for the air bag which I don't have because I have a racing steering wheel. I pulled the plug on the orange wire to test the ohms for the ignition and the key off it has 0ohms and with the key on it has .5 ohms. The key has 10 so does anyone have any recommendations? I tried using my spare key and still nothing

A simply way to remember is to cut the two wires in the orange sleeve then measure the resistance across the two leads coming FROM the ecm. This is the approx. value the ecm will want to see with the key on +/- 50K. So then just daisy chain however many resistors you need to arrive at the closest value. Radio Shack carries a GM resistor pack assortment for about $5.
