Drac/VSSB Module mod issues
Drac/VSSB Module mod issues
Hopefully somebody here can give me some help with recalibrating my speedo. I have the 94-95 module and modified it by adding two 6 position dip switchs. Using the calculation I found in a tech sticky
63360x4.1111111111111x40 = 10419199.99999972
85.625x128000 = 10960000
10419199.99999972/10960000= .95056569
Using the input ratio of .95056569 I've used multiple different jumper settings around that input ratio with the same result my speedo still reads around 10 mph off when it says I'm doing 60 i'm really doing 50 mph. I've mirrored the left bank of jumpers like I was supposed to as well. Searching the forums I've read that the bottom half of the charts I've found is backwards but I dont see how this is possible since position 1 is supposed to remain jumpered. If it were backwards some of the settings wouldn't work since they would start with zero. What am I doing wrong or did I possibly damage the module while soldering? If it was damaged I would assume the speedo wouldnt work at all or act completely crazy though.
