hi guys, a few years back i bought an STS turn signal setup from a member here. i havent had much luck with it but i'm desperate for it to work. I just swapped my new 350 motor in, and now the turn signals just turn on, and dont flash at all. it started out that one side didnt' use the STS on turn signal but would with the hazards, and now none flash, just turn on. any ideas?

 

Check the relay?

 

i'm actually pretty positive its the flasher. i'm going to replace that later on today and i'm nearly positive the turn signals will work properly, but i also am fairly positive the one side of the STS wont work and will just flash solid like before.

 

IDK about your STS setup, but LED lights don't have enough draw to trigger the flasher. It then "sees" it as a blown bulb and wont flash. Some LEDs you have to put a resistor inline to have enough draw for turn signals to work.

 

well i replaced the flasher and now the blinkers flash, butone side is sequential and the other just blinks solid. i replaced the old thermal flasher with an electronic one, so would that make a difference with the LED bulbs i was considering?
