1983 Trans Am C100 Diagram and instrument panel pinouts

I couldn't find the proper C100 diagram for my 1983 Firebird Trans Am (daytona pace car) with the LU5 Crossfire, Automatic. I am in the process of a LSx swap in my car, and I had the whole cars wiring harness laid out in my basement. So I traced EVERY wire and edited another diagram for the C100 connector and made a diagram for the Instrument panel, in case anyone else is looking for them.

Should be useful if you are trying to do a swap and are keeping the stock gauges. Or for anyone trying to find where a wire goes in this harness.

I am not responsible for any electrical issues with your car, and this is only a guide. This SHOULD work between 1982-1984 and possibly other years, but I can NOT guarantee that.

82-84 carb cars are for the most part, the same. CFI and berlinetta digital units are unique to an extent, but all of the swap important stuff is in the same spots. You also need the C207 pinout

Bumping this old thread, sorry!!

I have a 1983 with the V6. I'm trying to find this same pinout picture for that motor as the pinout appears different than the CFI car.

For example, I need to identify wire E4 which is tan/white... and that isn't used in that diagram!

Please do not take this as argumentative, but do you have the same model car? Mine was absolutely a brown wire. Just curious what, if any, differences there was in the car models.

Either way, good to have the information updated. I know when I was doing my c100 (and other connections) that no books showed exactly how my 83 dt500 was setup. Some were very close, but for whatever reason that car was differently wired from the factory.

Yeah mine was originally the Crossfire LU5. I would assume it didn't actually function anyways, seeing as it didn't have a choke, but it was wired for it.

Anyways, good information to have for someone looking later on.
