Re: need pinouts for cluster
anyone??? Im having a hard time following the conecting points on the circate board,if thats what the back of the gauge pod is. the v8 lg4 and the v6tpi alt gauges dont pin in the same place. v6 is a light and looks to pin to the white conector on right side of sterin wheel.think brown wire on top 1st pin starting from left to right.think maybe the v8 lg4 is pin on left side of wheel in the black conector pin 2 top starting from right to left.

I'll help best I can with what I can find. I'll start with the C100 bulkhead for the 85. http://www.austinthirdgen.org/mkport..._1985_C100.gif
This is the gauge cluster for an 86 but I believe it is the same for 87. No pinouts but you have colors to go by.

This is the indicator lights on the cluster w/o gauges.

In the diagrams it will say where they connect to the C100.
Now I'll throw out the 91-92 gauge cluster pinouts which may be of no use. These are the only years I can find for this. Again, you may be able to go by colors to see if they are mostly the same.

Not exactly what you asked for but it's what I have access to. If you want to dig around on this site you may find something more helpful to you.

Re: need pinouts for cluster
thankyou for your help.I printed that stuff up about a year ago and it is helping me out. If I even had a picture or diagram of the 2 pig tails with the wires for my gauge that would have made it alot faster to move things into there proper pin slot. Im geting it figured out 1 wire at a time. there are a few that can stay where they are at. think the tac wire is installed even though my gauge didnt have one.the harness has it in place for them that would. maybe the engine temp and fuel gauges are ok. Oil pressure has to move.Maybe the alt gauge pin to. the v6 had alota stuff that conects to nothing on this new set up. 1 picture is worth alot!!!
