Re: 86 camaro carb swap which relays?

Was it a factory v8 or 2.8 car? If it's a v8 car and there is a harness on the ps of your engine bay, unplug it from the computer and remove every lead the wires end at. I have the same car with the same swap (86 camaro 350) and the only relay left on my firewall is the electric fan relay. A 2.8 should be the same principle but I am not 100% certain if a 2.8 computer and gauge harness are separate.

Re: 86 camaro carb swap which relays?

Yeah it was a factory v8 car with all of the harness coming from passenger side. I wanna get all these wires cleaned up/hid. I thought I wouldn't of needed the ESC or MAF relay anymore just wanted to make sure be4 I unplugged it. Kid fried the motor they swapped in it. Which is ashame but oh well. So while I have the motor out figured I might as well clean up the bay a little bit. So when you say in plug everything, there a little connector right under my maf an where the fuel pump would be. Pretty sure I don't need them anymore but I'm not positive. Thanks!
