Accessory mode fan problem
Hey guys,
When I turn my ignition to accessory mode (power on, no engine) my radiator fan turns on. Is there any way to keep the fan from turning on?

Re: Accessory mode fan problem
By any chance is your "max, normal, bilevel" etc. On your AC control assembly on any of those besides off? When u turn acc on and those ac controls are on anything but off then closing that switch will flip the relay and turn the fan on, unless u have a tuned port incjection then I believe the circuit is set up differently

Pretty sure that any time your HVAC controls are in any kind of "AC" position, as Tehfitm8 mentioned, your fans will come on. It's hard wired this way. Put your switch to "floor" or "Vent" and see how that works. Let us know if your fan comes on them. If you do, then you have a deeper wiring issue that needs to be worked out since the TBI set up works basically the same as the carbed set up.

Re: Accessory mode fan problem
Well, for starters my heat/and AC are not working... I've messed around with the ac/heat controls while in accessory mode, the only thing that turns on/off is the interior fan. The fan always turns on, every time, so I take that's not supposed to happen?
I haven't figured out why my heat isn't working... I was thinking I needed to flush out/replace my heater core.
Really appreciate it guys, Thanks!
