help my ecm reads a lower rpm then what my engine turns!
i have a 95 c1500 with a 4.3, and my ecm will read 550-600 rpm at warm idle but my tach reads 900-1000 at warm idle. i have confirmed my engine is in fact turning 1000 with a rpm gauge. any ideas?

What software are you using to read the data from the ECM? If it's TunerPro, do you have the right file selected for your computer? I remember someone posted a log with the wrong file selected and it caused all sorts of oddities. Just taking a shot in the dark here because I'm not sure what would cause it otherwise.

kinda sounds like v6/v8 tune or ECM might have gotten mixed.Does a 95 4.3 still use the old TBI with underdash ECM that uses a memcal?
