Speedo not working - Wiring questions VSS etc.
Hi all!
I have almost completed my Holley HP Efi conversion. One last problem remains.
My Speedo is not working anymore.
I have converted from TH700 to T56 , and have a Dakota Digital SGI-5C which worked well so far (just some interferences which let the speedo needle jump back and forth ).
With the stock ECM i see that there is a brown wire going from the vss speed buffer to ecm port A10 , which should be the ECM input for the speed signal.
Do I need this wiring in order to have the speedo working? At least it seems so.
Can anyone help me with that?
Thanks alot
Alex

Problem is not resolved yet but it seems that I accidently have cut one of the wires going to the C207 connector ( one of them should be the wire thats leading to the speedo )
As far as I know it won't be necessary to have the vss input for the ecm, this is just for logging, not for controlling anything besides a speed limiter.
