Headlights Still not working

I just replaced my headlight switch this afternoon and my headlights worked fine...for about 5 minutes then they began to flicker. The will go on and off repeatedly and I can't figure out the problem. Need some help

Your New Lights R Not Right

There is a circuit breaker in the headlight switch.

That is what is causing the flashing, it can be defective even tho new, or something in the headlight circuit is drawing too much current.

Make sure you are using correct original type headlight replacements and not aftermarket gimmicky or “brighter” headlights.

Heads Up

Yes.

To verify, use an ammeter in series with a stock type replacement and note the reading.

Then test your new headlight(s) the same way, all prongs, the dim and the bright filaments, to see if they draw more current.
