Removing wiring (Easy help)

Removing the wiring for ac, heat and AIR system. Will that cause any issues? The actual components are removed currently, and since I have ceased needing the wiring, I want to remove it's clutter and extra weight.

If you have electric fans, and if they're hooked up through the stock wiring, they won't work anymore once taking that harness out. Pretty sure that's it though, unless GM changed up some of that climate control harness in 89.

I do have electric fans. Would you possibly know how I would need to wire the fans up then?

Thanks

Do your fans turn on when you turn the AC on? If so, then there is a green wire that comes out of the harness for the whole AC system and goes to the fan relay. Just cut that wire from the AC harness and put a switch on it that sends it to ground.
