Ok so I have a 1988 Trans-am 5.7ltr. I was having some electrical issues with the charging system so I was going inch by inch and replacing and fixing wires, etc. Car ran fine but would flicker and not charge the battery. This weekend I pulled the AC lines and AC/heater box out of the car. I replaced the positive battery cable from the starter and rerouted the rest of the wiring for the starter and knock sensor. I shortened the wiring and loomed in 2000 degree loom. all connections were clean and everything is hooked up properly. Relays are new and wiring is clean from relays to battery.

Here is the problem. After fixing said issue (above) I started the car. It was good. I turned it off and ate lunch. Then I started the car again (again it was good, ran fine). I went to the store and when I came out the car would not start. I turned off the key and tried it again and it turned over a few times and would not start. After that I turned the key off and tried again. This time the fuel pump did not engage and it would not even click to turn on. The "Brake" light on the dash would come on when I tried to start it. I searched and found some people saying NSS. I unplugged the unit and tried to start it. No fuel pump prime and no start as before.

I get power to roll windows up etc. Gauges work and battery is good. Any ideas???

Also I'm not popping any codes, so no VATS, etc
