Fuel gauge,speedo don't work

Hi I have a 89 camaro and the speedo and fuel gauge don't work idk how to fix the speedo since it hasn't worked since I bought the car but the fuel gauge worked until I recently changed the fuel pump then after that it just stays at full all the time any suggestions would be great Thanks

fuel pump sounds like bad sending unit you can have this checked before you walk out the part store generally.
