Bypassing all the Computer $hit

I am swaping motors in my '86 Z-28. It has a stock 5.0L w/4 barrell carb. I am putting a 350 with carb. So I want to get rid of all the computer crap as possible. If it is possible to get rid of it all, than tell me how!! Thanks.

Why do you want to ditch all the computer setup? Because your car is mostly a track car or because someone told you that you should. Its actually a very good setup. Its easy to work with if you familiarize yourself with your car and it delivers excellent fuel economy and don't think you can't use a 350 with your computer. the carburetor doesn't care what engine is under it. It will compensate automatically to assure optimal air/fuel ratio.

Also to help. The harness from the pass. side is your computer related crap. The driver's side hanress is the crap you need for the car to function ie. guages, starter, lights, etc.

I dumped my puter a couple of years ago and have never been happier with the car.

I've run with both a non cc edelbrock and a cc quadrajet. After learning the system I like the computer setup better. It's really not hard to learn.
