Code 46 After Changing Alternator

Code 46 After Changing Alternator
I have a 1992 TPI set up in my 76 Chevy Pickup.
I had an issue with my alternator a few days back. It was back feeding and my A/C system was hot with key off. I changed the alternator and now I get cranks with no start/cranks with a few seconds starts and dies syndrome.
Code 46 is coming up after resetting ECM with battery disconnect. I had a code 51 with a stuck on CEL earlier also.
I found my in line VATS resister and it OHMs out fine.
Anyone have any ideas?
Did my alternator problem fry my ECM?
Thanks,
Pugsy

Re: Code 46 After Changing Alternator
I got the VATS bypass from Baker Electronics and she started right up. It died a short time later so I swapped from the blue wire to the green wire (30 HZ).
I joined the wire to the VATS F10 wire but did not cut it. Not sure if this is correct or not.
I think it's time to order up a chip/ECM? with VATS disabled.
If this aftermarket module fails, I'll be stranded somewhere.
