My 92 RS was converted to a Carburated 650 cfm on a 383 and messages are not needed or accurate. How do I disable the message center?

 

 

Nina, Thank you. This will eliminate messages "Service Engine Soon" and "INFL BEST"?

 

INFL REST is the air bag, so it won't disable that one as it isn't controlled through the ECM. I'd just pull the cluster and take the bulbs out, personally.

 

AmorgetRS, Thank you. However, at this area of the cluster there is no bulbs.

Only 4 of those bulbs are for the backlighting (the gray ones, I believe), the rest turn on certain lights (SES, INFL REST, Seat belt, Security, etc)

If you really wish to hack apart your wiring worse, here is the pinout for the custer. Just cut the wires leading to the cluster and tape them off:



I tried to find a nice picture with each of the bulbs labeled for you, but couldn't, and I don't have a 90-92 gauge cluster handy.
