Hi all new to the forums i have an 85 berlinetta carb. 305 i get no power to distributor from the pigtail going in but if i hook straight to the battery and turn the key it cranks right up and runs like a champ but to turnnit off i must disconnect the wire to the distributor its so weird. Is this a fusable link if so what fuse controls this ? Any info will help thouroughly.

 

Have you checked the 10A Ecm inj fuse?

 

Actually got it going today but thanks for the reply it turned out the guy i got the car from had the complete wrong pigtail hooked up traces the ifnition wire and found it and tach wire not hooked to dostributor
