Hello, I have an 86 IROC with the 305 TPI, im currently getting the engine swapped over for a new 350 L98 TPI off of an 86 corvette. The guides that i've read on here mention that I have to change the prom so it can handle the new 350, How do i go about starting that? I have some pictures of my ECU and the PROM. I see people mentioning different types of PROM's and ECU's which one do I have? Thank you.

 

The ecm is a 7165 for 86 tpi camaro. No clue what the prom that is though. You should just have to swap chips and you should be good to go. My situation is much worse as I'm putting a tpi in to a tbi t/a,camaro thingy that's been touched by 8 different people in the last year.
