4th gen Fuel Pump Assembly
Hey All
A question about the 4th gen fuel pump assembly. I have the LS1 tank, pump & sender unit in my third gen at the moment. However the actual fuel sender unit has a reading issue when the tank has between 20L to 30L of fuel in it, the resistance reads very erratic (200-400ohm). I've noticed ls1 complete units are priced around $400usd ish to buy new. However i noticed v6 units are much much cheaper at around $100usd.
What i'm wondering is can i get the v6 unit, take the sender off the unit and put that on my ls1 unit to get a new sender on it cheaply. The 40-250ohm reading is what i need so that's not a problem. I'm just wondering if there is any other differences on the sender.
Any thoughts ?
