I have an 88 305 TPI that I bought last year. I've been having some problems occasionally and just the other day I found this plug that isnt connected to anything, and I can't track the wire back. It is on the passenger side, right next to the distributor, can anyone help me identify where this plug goes?
There's a connector, in all of these cars AFAIK, that doesn't hook to anything. Wires are pink/black and black. Which are, ECM ign and gnd. I.e. powers everything the ECM is concerned with, including the ECM. Probably was an sub-assy test connector, allowing the whole engine electronics w/ ECM to be powered without being hooked to a car. (or maybe not even an engine...)

There's two wires, the first one is red, and the second one is either gray or light green. It's at a hard to reach location and I tried to get as much dirt off as possible.
