MSD 6AL-2

Hey guys and gals. I have a mild street 350 in my 86 Camaro. It's putting out 310 at the wheels. Sometimes I get a little too excited when driving and I've blown up previous engines because of this. I'd like to install an MSD 6AL-2 for the rev limiter. Does anyone on here have experience with it and can I get it for a Carb'd 350 with no turbos or supercharger? Thanks!

You can get the 6al or 6al2, only difference is the 2 step. As long as you can follow basic instructions you'll be fine, mount it away from heat if possible. I have mine on the passenger side console
