Rpm gauge stopped working?
What's up guys I got a 91 trans am with a 350 tpi. I recently fixed the fan relay and got that working properly. I started it up and drove around to get it to operating temp. As I was pulling into my garage I noticed the rpm gauge had stopped working. It was working fine when I was driving. I checked the white wire coming off the coil and it seems to be I tact it's not broken or anything. What else should I check? I've read the sticky on them. But this one was working fine I didn't have any problems with it.

Have you checked that the 1-wire connector (primarily tan wire with stripe I think) that is near the distributor is connected and has a good connection? The one you disconnect when doing timing. If that's disconnected it will make the tach read 0, I had one come apart on me before.

Is that the oy issue?
Do the gauge lights & other gauges work?
I wonder if there is a blown fuse.

Yes everything else works all the other gauges work. How can I check the wire in the coil? It is the white one in the front of the coil correct?

Bump I went over everything today to be sure the tach wire is the white one next to the pink one in front of the coil correct? There is also a plug there with a connector
