Okay, threw a bone stock V6 3.1 in the 88. Having issue between distributor and tachometer. Engine runs well enough, hopefully the miss is gone with fuel pressure fix. Problem I'm having is with a bouncy tach in my 94 cluster that also seems to be reading a bit off. Didn't have any issues with the 3x00 setup but this bugs me. Only thing I know for sure is the engine harness has a quick tap in it for probably an aftermarket tach. Don't see any damaged wires or anything other than that. Dash harness is untouched... Engine harness modified to match with addition of T5 reverse switch and trans VSS. Scratching my head here.
Forgot to mention ignition module is brand new and has less than 2 hours run time. Second module does the same.

Well, now the tach wire is disconnected from coil pigtail... No more bouncing tach. No more tach period. So how am I going to set my minimum air rate now?
