I was hoping the one of you Third Gen Gurus would be able to help me.

I have a 1988 Trans Am GTA with steering controls. Which do not work.
I pulled off the horn/radio controller pad to find out that the controller was not plugged in. And there was no place for the plug to go.

Should the turn signal switch have the radio controller wires coming off of it? I think my switch was replaced with a non-radio one at some point.

Is there any source of a new switch with the connection for the radio controller??

Any input would be helpful.

Has anyone ever tired to build a turn signal switch with the radio controller wiring? Maybe frankenstein one from a later GM switch with the controller.

 

I have a 1989 GTA that i'm trying to repair.

My Turn Signal Switch Assembly needs to be replaced or rebuild. Can someone give a hint to where to find the tiny springs inside the Assembly. This one is PN D6262 ( with the Radio push button Controls)
