switch?
I did a quick google search on radio switches but i couldnt find anything. My durango, would keep the radio on all the time unless i bought the $80 radio harness. So I just installed a neat looking little switch and used that to turn it on and off. I really liked it also because i could actually turn the radio off while driving, the radio i have will not ever turn off unless the car is off, you just have to mute it.
Anyway, does anyone else do this?

Re: switch?
I've never seen a radio without a power button. Any radio sold on this planet in this century should be able to shut off while receiving power, unless it's broken.

Re: switch?
For that info, I'd have to know the model number. I've been looking at the Pioneer units lately, but their confusing controls have me looking at Eclipse and Alpine instead.

Re: switch?
did you make sure you hook up the yellow wire from the radio to the battery constant, and the red wire to remote?. i get the feeling you either hooked them up together, or switched them.

Re: switch?
did you do this because you have no acc 12? or you only have a 12v source? not normal its most likely hooked up wrong and liike2stroke i think you hold down the seek button and it will scan for you and pick up the strongest ch.s
