You might be able to simply run a ground wire to the washer switch "OUT" wire,... this should shut the low washer fluid light off - at all times.

IIRC the switches for the door ajar are located on each door latch itself,... not the easiest thing to access / repair. You might also be able to use a ground wire on those circuits to shut off the lights on the display too. ( even if just for testing )

So your saying the door latches have he switches built into them i recently had to get new doors cause they were rotted at the bottom another thing i dont remember seeing wires coming off the latches and traveling in the doors to the inside of the car unless u are talking about the door jam switch that turns the interior lighting on is it these you are talking about ????

Ok so i figured it out there are 2 wires that were cut and just left hanging on the drivers side one black wire if you ground it to metal it makes the left door come on, on the wud also on the passenger side there is one black wire that was also just hanging so i touch that one to a metal ground and that made the right door ajar come up on the wud but now the only thing about it is if u close the doors they still stay lit up on wud and if i open the left door it makes the right door ajar come up so something is definitely messed up

Can someone send a diagram of the wud wiring for 87-88 gta with digi dash so i can figure this previous owner hack job wiring
