Big Fat Fuel Gauge needs to be TACH
My friend's '87 Base model/berlinetta whatevers has a spot for the small 3 guages in the middle but they aren't there, and has the BIG FUEL GAUGE where our tachs go for the upper models.
Could one just pull a cluster pannel from say an '85 Z28 and plug it into the '87? Or does the whole system need to be rewired?
I know the speedo can be replaced but he wants a tach where the fuel goes and temp/oil press/battery volts.
Any info would be highly helpful!

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
It'll bolt right up...all that will need to be changed are the water temp and oil pressure sending units on the engine itself, everything else will work as normal; the wire for the tach is already there.
