On the new convertable IROC I just bought the Gas gauge likes to jump around between half and full, but when I get downt o half a tank of gas the gauge work fine from Half to E........sending unit? How hard is it to replace and how much to get it done if it is too hard.

 

My 85 Camaro used to do the same thing--I was told it was the float. Never fixed it tho.
