Re: Ignition Switch relay location?

Yes, still troubleshooting this problem. I am going to have to take a look at the ignition switch next. I understand it is located on the top side of the steering column and I need to drop the column down to get access to it. In the pic, there is a bracket holding up the column. Looks like I have to take out the four bolts (two on each side) and then undo the two nuts (one on each side) to get the bracket off. Is that right? Question....do I have to then prop up the column somehow? Will it only drop a certain amount after the bracket is removed?

Re: Ignition Switch relay location?

Remove the two nuts on the column mounting bracket. There is also 3 bolts iirc holding the flange to the firewall.
