wiper issue

what is causing this issue? it is a 1987 pontiac trans am

Could be the park switch, which is in the wiper motor.

Transmission: 700R4 3000 stall.

Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Torsen 3.70

It's likely going to be the wiper motor cover/park switch I would guess. Maybe some poor contacts in there. Pull it off and check it.
