1987 Camaro Discontinued Wiper Motor Cover

I apologize in advance if I am posting this incorrectly. This is my first attempt.

Now that the 86/87 wiper motor covers are completely discontinued and very difficult to find has anyone come up with a solution? Is there an aftermarket or retro fit set of components to overcome the fact that you can not purchase a cover any more?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Had the same issue with my '92, not available. With no other choice I managed to repair the PCB:

Re: 1987 Camaro Discontinued Wiper Motor Cover

The wiper motor cover for delay wipers on your '87 is unique to 84-87 Camaros. The research I've done says that the same setup was used by A-bodies (Celebrity/Century/etc) of the same time period and possibly the Monte as well.

Salvage is really the only option for replacement. Third Gen Salvage was able to send me a working wiper motor assembly with the delay cover on it. If all else fails, you can scrap the delay wipers and go with a non-delay cover, which is the same shape, but has none of the electronics inside. But, you will only have 2-speed wipers (low/high).

Salvage wiper motors with good covers aren't impossible to find, but they seem to be getting harder to find. Car-part.com is a good resource to search salvage yards nationwide. A lot of yards will ship parts.

The covers with the circuit board and arm may occasionally be found NOS/ New-old-stock on eBay, but in over a year of searching, I haven't seen one turn up. I think most of them are gone.
