Rearview back up camera
Ok as the title says anybody put a back up camera in there 85-90 trans am with 3 piece tail lights. Im looking to mount mine right where the trunk lock cylinder is since i have the trunk release option in my gta. Im also running a T5 would i wire the camera wiring into power going to the reverse lights or can i wire it to the wiring at the shifter. Another how do you route the cable for the video picture.

You will route the wire behind the hatch motor panel.
Then head right because you won’t have to go past the brake and the loud pedal.
You can then go behind the spare tire.
Then go low and forward towards the door.
Then you can route it under the door threshold.
Now you can route it behind the right kick panel.
Then behind the stereo, and up to the screen.
Don’t rush it and it will look factory - in other words you’ll never see a hint of wire.
